About This Project

This piece is vibrant, vivid, linear and highly technical in nature, draws its movement ideas from Cunningham, Limon, Ballet and  Contact Technique. Dancers are led by the fast rhythm of the music with the movement almost happening at the same pace. Dancers here are exploring the linear use of the body and how each dancer can fill the empty space created by the other as if they are one. Dancers move in tandem sharing identical rhythms, sharing weight and space. The high intensity and style of the piece is demonstrating the very popular pace many famous choreographers are choosing to use in their professional work such as the like of ‘ Wayne Mcgregor’, ‘ Kerry Nicholls’, Shobana Jeyasingh’ Bonacella’ and so many more. Contemporary dance is developing hugely over the years and becoming more and more physically demanding and visually exciting. Professional Contemporary Dance training has to meet the demands of this popular technique, therefore creating incredibly strong and able technical dancers
